Crunch meets at Artefact Stirchley on alternate Wednesdays from noon to 2 pm. It’s an informal, self-led group, open to anyone with an interest in creative writing. No membership, no charge… just turn up.

Crunch is hosted by Artefact but run by its members. Any errors, bad advice, libels etc on this blog are our responsibility, not theirs.

The purpose of this blog is not so much to display our own work but to share ideas about creative writing sessions. There are lots of articles online about writing activities suitable for classroom settings, and while come of these can be adapted, many are not suitable for an informal, adult group.

Oh, and Crunch is short for Creative Lunch.
